GM Performance Powerglide for circle track, street and strip applications with splined torque converter. For 2 wheel drive models only.This transmission is a complete ready to run unit(less the converter) for high performance circle track and drag use. The transmission provides firm shifts and features a standard shift pattern, these are the finest transmissions available for street and strip use. It uses a mechanical type speedometer connection. Suitable for use behind engines producing up to 450lb. ft of torque. Will not replace 4L60E applications(post 1993). Includes a new servo assembly, new boost valve, new pressure regulator valve and new governor with gear. Everyone of our transmission goes through the following: Manual Valve Body, 1.76 Low Gear, Hardened Input Shaft, Steel Clutch Hub, Universal Linkage(can be changed between up and down position)A complete teardown to the bare case for a complete inspection of all components including bands, bushings and clutches.All worn or potentially weak components are replaced to ensure longevity as each one of our transmissions are 100% guaranteed and come with a 1 year warranty.The bare case is pressure washed and passages are cleaned using compressed air, while the valve body and its parts that are to be reused are thoroughly cleaned and inspected.All components deemed reusable are checked four times by experienced professionals at one of the best transmission rebuilders in Southern California. They are meticulously inspected during teardown, machining, cleaning, and final installation stages of the process.The cleaned case is inspected for cracks, pin holes or wear.
