These Ford 9 in. housing studs from Speedmaster are installed into the housing and pulled through a nut to provide a pressed fit. Their main purpose is to secure the main cap to the center section and keep it that way. Speedmaster's main cap studs are made from strong steel and have a black oxide finish to deter rust and corrosion.
